This introductory screen has three sections:

Using Gateway Links
Logging in to BONE
- Click the BONE link in the Introductory Screen to open the front page of BONE
- Enter Username and Password and click on Login
- Remember to Logout when you have finished
Logging in to FirstClass Client
Note: Before this link will work you need to download FirstClass to your own PC or Mac. Instructions for how to do this may be obtained via the FirstClass Client Download Area link within the ICT Resources link under Intranet - Public.
- Click the FirstClass Client link in the Introductory Screen
- Enter User ID and Password and press return or click on the Arrow in the Green circle
- Remember to Exit when you have finished
Logging in to FirstClass via the Web Interface
- Click the FirstClass Via Web link in the Introductory Screen
- Enter User ID and Password and click on Login
- Remember to Logout when you have finished
Note: this method of accessing FirstClass is recommended for use in situations where the FirstClass Client cannot be installed. Only the Client interface gives full access to all features of FirstClass.
Logging in to BSO Private Intranet
Intranet Private Login allows BSO students and staff access to BSO Private information.
- Click the Intranet Private - Login link on the left hand side of the Introductory Screen
- Enter your User ID and Password and click Login
- Remember to Logout when you have finished

BSO INTRANET
The BSO Intranet is both a central repository of the school’s policies, downloads, standard forms and procedures and a gateway to the other information systems within the school. The BSO Intranet has both a Public and Private face.
The BSO Intranet may be accessed via Internet Explorer (or any other Web browser) either from our website (use the Intranet link in the footer of the home page of www.bso.ac.uk) or from http://intranet.bso.ac.uk (from within the BSO or
from anywhere else in the world).
BSO Private Information is accessed by using the Intranet Private - Login link which is at the bottom of the set of links on the left of the BSO Intranet home page. The BSO employs this intranet to securely communicate information to BSO students and staff. Course Material is published on BONE and Email communication is found via FirstClass. BONE, FirstClass and BSO Private Information may all be accessed using the same User ID and Password.
