University of Bedfordshire Library account (Remote access)
If you wish to access electronic databases within the University of Bedfordshire library, you need first to complete the relevant form ( which is available from here ) and return this to the BSO library in order to register with them.
Use of BONE
Teachers at the BSO are expected to use BONE to make their course materials available to the students that they are teaching.
BONE is made using a piece of software called MOODLE. Many useful documents about how to use forums, create courses and more can be found on the following links:
BONE Video Tutorials currently available:

Goes into further depth about how to use the editing icons, including moving files, hiding files and adding more topics to a course. Run Time: 4:51
Below are some more specific links relating to the creating of Forums.
If you have any general queries regarding BONE, please do not hesitate to contact h.batten@bso.ac.uk.
Once you go to this page:
In the top right hand corner of the page click on "Login" which will open the BONE Login Page. Enter your FirstClass Username and Password into the relevant boxes and click on the "Login" button to access BSO learning resources and course information.
If you require editing rights (i.e. are a tutor for a particular subject and intend to upload learning material for students) you will need to log in as explained above in order for you to be assigned editing permissions. Please email me (at H.Batten@bso.ac.uk ) detailing the years, modes and names of the courses for which you need editing permissions at your earliest convenience--straight after you have logged into BONE.
